Recipe Grilled Cheese with Brie, Jam & Pecan Nuts

You're more of a salt cook, you're more of a sweet cook? How about both? Put gourmet jam in our good old grilled cheese? Who knew! There are days when you just don't feel like choosing, and that's exactly the spirit of today's recipe.

For this, our flagship product chestnut pear, a beautiful texture between compote and jam that has already conquered so many amateur gourmets, falls on a spade...

Ingredients
  • 5cl milk
  • 1 handful of pecans
  • 2 slices of sandwich bread
  • Chestnut PearJam
  • Brie
  • 1 pear
  • Half-salt butter
  • Shallot confit
  • Young shoots
  • Espelette pepper
  • Pepper

The recipe

  1. Start by cutting the pear into 3 to 4 slices.
  2. Then butter the slices of bread, but only on one side. Melt the rest of the butter in a hot frying pan.
  3. Meanwhile, cut a few slices of Brie and the pecans into small pieces.
  4. For cooking, place your slices of bread in your pan buttered side down. Melt the slices of Brie, shallot confit and pecans.
  5. Then add the pear slices and a spoonful of Chestnut-Pear jam.
  6. Finish with the young sprouts and pour the milk into the pan to finish cooking.

The grilled cheese that will melt more than one! Because to taste it is to succumb to it. You've been warned!
