It is in Dordogne that Confiture Parisienne selects the best raspberries in the heart of the season. Our raspberry jams are handcrafted in our Parisian workshop always with ingenuity in the associations of flavors: the raspberry is mixed with violet, rose, apricot, orange blossom ...

Bringing tradition up to date is what we wanted to do when we created Confiture Parisienne. And what could be more traditional and evocative than jam carefully prepared with good seasonal fruit! How about a red fruit jam delicately spread on a slice of fresh bread? What tasty memories!

If there is a fruit of our childhood that we like to taste throughout the summer it is of course the raspberry! Star of red fruits, the raspberry is also the paragon of the jam. In Paris, in our workshop, it is associated with new flavors for the greatest pleasure of gourmets delighted to discover and rediscover the raspberry jam.

Raspberry jam: a must-have to sublimate

Sweet and tart, as light as it is powerful, the raspberry concentrates a whole bunch of flavors that we like to find every year when summer is in full swing. With its pulpy shape and its inimitable red color, the raspberry is a fruit that has long remained wild and that was mainly used to make drinks. In the 19th century, however, the industrial revolution changed the cards: raspberries began to be eaten as they were and, above all, new ways of making jam were discovered!

In the kitchen, the senses were awakened, the copper pans hummed, the sugar shivered and caramelized gently, the bubbles burst: the raspberry diffused its aromas to give birth to a wonderful jam. Among the traditional jams, raspberry jam is one of the most popular. It appeals to young and old alike and can even be easily combined with elaborate recipes.

The slightly acidic sweetness of the raspberry combines ideally with other flavors that we have of course chosen to explore in our workshop!

New associations of flavors for a raspberry jam of the most greedy

To create good jams, you must certainly use good fruit! And for that, it is necessary to address to producers who cultivate as well the fruits as the talent and the passion. It is thus in Dordogne that we chose to select our raspberries. After having selected the best fruits of the season, we bring them back to our workshop in order to imagine new flavour combinations. With ingenuity, we have created new recipes associating for example raspberries with chocolate, violets, apricots, star anise and lychees. Each jar of jam finds a perfect harmony of flavors that will fill you with happiness! Of course, we also had to make the most of the raspberry, the unique one: so we also integrated this red fruit into our "single fruit" range. For this, we used the best varieties of raspberries, such as Willamette or Mecker, renowned for their great gustatory qualities.

Raspberry jam can be eaten at any time of the day, on a lightly toasted slice of bread, on a waffle, in a pancake or in a cottage cheese or scone. It will also accompany your most beautiful gourmet recipes for breaks as sweet as tasty
