Small, round and full of sunshine, the Roussillon apricot is the one that Confiture Parisienne has chosen for its range of artisanal apricot jams. Selected in the heart of the season, our jams are made from fresh fruit in our Parisian confectionery.

Since its creation, Confiture Parisienne has been exploring flavors and combining ingredients to create bold and delicious recipes. Thanks to these different combinations, we have been able to create a wide range of recipes: you can enjoy a different jam for every moment of the day.

If we wanted to give pride of place to originality and surprise, we also wanted to highlight high quality ingredients. To make each apricot jam, we chose to use French apricots, more precisely fruits coming from Roussillon!

Apricot jam: the fresh fruit straight from Roussillon

The apricot is a thousand-year-old tree that was originally found in China. It was Alexander the Great who imported it to Europe along the famous Silk Road. Progressively, the apricot tree is implanted on the whole Mediterranean basin where the climate is favorable to the culture of its fruit: the apricot. However, in France, the apricot is a little slow to make its place. Indeed, it was not until it made its triumphant entry into the vegetable garden of the Palace of Versailles that the French began to consume this sun-drenched fruit.

As far as jams are concerned, apricot has nothing to envy to red fruits, it is a classic! At Confiture Parisienne, it is of course savored in its simplest form thanks to our collection of single fruit jams. L'Unique Abricot is a jam that we have elaborated with the best French apricots grown in Roussillon. It is precisely Thibaut Pique who selects for us the best varieties of fresh apricots. The fruits of Thibaut are always delivered 24 hours after the harvest, it is the guarantee to elaborate exceptional apricot jams!

At Confiture Parisienne, we like to propose recipes as unexpected as delicious. Of course, we had to find new associations of flavors to sublimate this famous apricot of Roussillon.

The apricot jam comes in a raspberry and star anise version. For this recipe, we bet on surprise and mystery. Of course, you'll recognize the raspberry flavor, but then something will disturb your senses: it's the star anise! This recipe is sure to appeal to the most discerning gourmets and, no doubt, to the most avid jam lovers.
