For Easter , Confiture Parisienne and Fou de Pâtisserie have come up with a new recipe for an ultra-gourmet spread : Chouchou .
A hazelnut, almond and chocolate spread sprinkled with chouchou flakes, ideal to accompany your waffles for a snack.
For this recipe, you need (for 4 people):
- 250 g of flour
- 40 g of sugar
- 50 cl of milk
- 20 g of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 jar of Chouchou Spread
The steps of the recipe:
1. Pour the flour , sugar and baking powder into a large bowl. Mix everything well .
2. Create a well in the center of the dough. Add the eggs, previously beaten in another bowl, using a fork. Mix again with a whisk .
3. While continuing to whisk, pour in the milk little by little to avoid lumps.
4. Add the melted butter and a pinch of salt . Mix everything well .
5. Heat your waffle iron and lightly oil it to prevent the batter from sticking. Pour a ladleful of batter into the waffle iron and cook for 5 minutes . Adjust the cooking time to suit your preferences. Repeat this process until you run out of batter.
6. Take a still-warm waffle and spread a generous amount of Chouchou on top. You'll see, it's truly delicious!
Enjoy!
