It is in the Dordogne that Confiture Parisienne selects the best raspberries at the height of the season. Our raspberry jams are handcrafted in our Parisian workshop, always with ingenuity in the combinations of flavors: raspberry is mixed with violet, rose, apricot, orange blossom…

Bringing tradition back into fashion is what we wanted to do when we created Confiture Parisienne. And what could be more traditional and evocative than jam carefully prepared with delicious seasonal fruit! What do you say to a red fruit jam delicately spread on a slice of fresh bread? What delicious memories!

If there is one fruit from our childhood that we love to enjoy all summer long, it is of course the raspberry! The star of red fruits, the raspberry is also the paragon of jam. In Paris, in our workshop, it is combined with new flavors for the greatest pleasure of gourmets delighted to discover and rediscover raspberry jam .

Raspberry jam: a must-have to enhance

Sweet and tangy, as light as it is powerful, raspberries concentrate a whole host of flavors that we enjoy finding each year when summer is in full swing. With its luscious shapes and inimitable red color, raspberries are a fruit that has long remained wild and was then mainly used to make drinks. In the 19th century, however, the industrial revolution reshuffled the cards: people began to enjoy raspberries as they were and, above all, new processes for making jam were discovered!

In the kitchen, the senses awaken, the copper pans purr, the sugar shivers and caramelizes gently, the bubbles burst: the raspberry diffuses its aromas to give birth to a wonderful jam. Among traditional jams, raspberry jam is thus one of the essentials, it pleases both children and adults and can even easily be combined with elaborate recipes.

The slightly tangy sweetness of raspberry pairs perfectly with other flavors that we have of course chosen to explore in our workshop!

New flavor combinations for a delicious raspberry jam

To create good jams, you definitely need to use good fruit! And for that, you need to contact producers who cultivate both fruit and talent and passion. So it is in the Dordogne that we have chosen to select our raspberries. After selecting the best fruits of the season, we bring them back to our workshop to imagine new flavor combinations. With ingenuity, we have thus created new recipes by combining, for example, raspberry with chocolate, violet, or even apricot and star anise as well as lychee. Each jar of jam finds a perfect harmony of flavors that will fill you with happiness! Of course, we also had to give pride of place to the raspberry, the unique one: so, we have also integrated this red fruit into our "monofruit" range. To do this, we have used the best varieties of raspberries, like the Willamette or the Mecker, renowned for their great taste qualities.

On a simple, lightly toasted slice of bread, on a waffle, in a crepe, or even in cottage cheese or a scone: raspberry jam can be enjoyed at any time of day. It will also accompany your most delicious gourmet recipes for breaks that are as sweet as they are delicious.
