Delicious Churros with Spread

To celebrate Easter properly, Confiture Parisienne offers you a churros recipe to enjoy with a selection of spreads. It's THE ideal snack to share with family or friends!

Chocolate Churos

For this recipe, you need:

(for 8 people)


The recipe:

  1. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, salt)
  2. Add the oil and boiling water to the mixture, and mix vigorously (can be done in a food processor)
  3. The dough should be sticky, if not, add more water
  4. Pour into a piping bag with a wide, fluted tip and let sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Heat the frying oil to 180°C (or use a high-sided pan, in which case do not put more than 2 cm of oil in the bottom)
  6. Drop 10-15cm long sticks into the fryer and cook for 3 minutes, until the churros become golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle the churros with sugar and serve with Easter Man or another spread of your choice.
  8. Enjoy!
