It's Valentine's Day at Confiture Parisienne . Introduce your other half to our gourmet diva, the "Lady Marmalade" , born from the love at first sight between the exoticism of passion fruit and the seduction of hibiscus . To do this, we offer you a recipe for a donut filled with this wonderful jam . A real explosion of flavors that will dazzle your loved one.
For this recipe, you need (for 4 people):
- 350g of flour
- 2 eggs
-15 cl of warm milk
- 1 sachet of baker's yeast
- 25 g of soft butter
- 25g caster sugar (and a little extra for decoration)
- 1 pinch of salt
- frying oil
- 1 jar of Lady Marmalade
The steps of the recipe:
1. In a salad bowl, pour the flour , sugar , yeast and salt . Then add the lukewarm milk and knead to combine well. Pour in the whole, beaten eggs and mix again to obtain a smooth dough. Add the butter , cut into pieces, and knead for another 5 minutes so that the dough is elastic. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let stand at room temperature for 2 hours .
2. After this rest, knead the dough again to remove any bubbles. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm on a lightly floured work surface. Cut out circles with a 5 cm diameter cookie cutter. Place them on the Place on a floured work surface or board and let rise for another 45 minutes with the cloth to cover.
3. Heat some frying oil in a pan and dip the donuts inside when it is very hot . Don't hesitate to test with one donut to find the right temperature. When they are golden brown , take them out and Sprinkle them immediately with caster sugar . Let them cool on absorbent paper then fill them with our delicious Lady marmalade using a piping bag.
