For this recipe, you need (for 8 people):
- 225g of flour
- 200g of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 sachet of yeast
- 10cl of oil
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar or a tablespoon of orange blossom water
- 1 jar of Lady Marmalade
The steps of the recipe:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C .
2. Mix the eggs , sugar and oil then add the flour , yeast and vanilla sugar .
3. Beat everything well to obtain a smooth paste .
4. Pour the mixture into a buttered mold and bake for about 35 minutes . Check the cake is cooked by inserting a knife into the cake. If it comes out clean, the cake is cooked. Remove it from the oven and let it cool completely.
5. Meanwhile, pour the jar of Lady Marmalade into a saucepan and heat the jam .
6. Dip the cake directly into the pan and soak all sides . Let the cake rest on your work surface. You can add a little jam on top for extra indulgence .
