The holidays are almost over for some, and they're still going strong for others! Discover our delicious recipe for shortbread glasses with raspberry and violet jam to make with your children this weekend.
For this recipe, you need:
- 500g of flour
- A vanilla pod (or 1 sachet of vanilla sugar)
- 200g softened butter
- 100g unrefined cane sugar (or caster sugar)
- icing sugar for finishing
- 2 eggs
- Raspberry-Violet Jam by Confiture Parisienne
- In a bowl, add the softened butter, cane sugar, vanilla pod and flour.
- Mix then add 2 eggs.
- Work the dough with your hands until it forms a ball.
- Sprinkle the work surface with flour.
- Using the rolling pin, roll out the dough.
- Form circles using the cookie cutter of your choice.
- On half of them, make two small holes as if to make eyes.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 150°C .
- Let cool then spread raspberry jam on the full shortbread.
- Cover with the perforated biscuits, then sprinkle with icing sugar.
