Yaourt glacé nappé de confiture Jardin du Luxembourg

Frozen yogurt topped with Jardin du Luxembourg jam

This frozen yogurt topped with jam is a delicious, refreshing treat, perfect for hot days!

For this recipe you need;

  • 500 g of natural yogurt
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 80 g of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pot of Jardin du Luxembourg jam

  • The steps of the recipe:

    1. In a large bowl, mix together the plain yogurt, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
    2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until you get a creamy, frozen texture.
    3. If you don't have an ice cream maker, place the mixture in an airtight container and freeze it. Every 30 minutes, remove the mixture from the freezer and whisk vigorously with a fork to break up any ice crystals. Repeat this step for about 3 hours, until the frozen yogurt reaches the desired consistency.
    4. When the frozen yogurt is ready, remove it from the freezer and let it soften slightly for a few minutes.
    5. In a small bowl, gently heat your jam of choice in the microwave or on the stovetop until slightly runny.
    6. Pour the hot jam over the frozen yogurt and mix gently to distribute the jam evenly.
    7. Place the jam-topped frozen yogurt back in the freezer for about 1 hour to allow the jam to set slightly.
    8. Serve your frozen yogurt topped with jam in cups or bowls and enjoy immediately.
    9. You can also add fresh fruit or additional toppings for extra flavor and texture.
