Rose de Sèvres from Confiture Parisienne X Manufacture de Sèvres

Confiture Parisienne and the Manufacture de Sèvres have joined forces to create an exceptional recipe, an original creation: a raspberry jam with sweet notes of Rose, the Rose de Sèvres.

The Manufacture of Sèvres :

Originally from China, porcelain became the most appreciated ceramic since its arrival in Europe in the 15th century. It is a real frenzy that seizes the European royal courts. At the instigation of Louis XV and especially his mistress Madame de Pompadour, the Sèvres Manufactory, which had become royal, pierced the mystery of white gold and succeeded in making a place for itself in French high society. The Manufacture surprises and knows its first triumph with its flowers modelled in natural, its statuettes in biscuit but also with the discovery of the famous colour "Bleu de Sèvres".

The peak of production occurred in the first half of the 19th century, under the leadership of their new administrator: A. Brongniart, who introduced innovative techniques. The latter also wanted to collect and present ceramics from all over the world and from all periods. This is how the Manufacture also became the very first museum dedicated to the arts of fire in the following century.

An up-to-date institution:

Today, this unique institution showcases a know-how dedicated to the noble art of ceramics, combining tradition and modernity. The Sèvres manufactory remains to this day the last to hold and transmit this know-how from another time in Europe. Indeed, the plurality of traditional crafts within the manufactory allows the reproduction of historical pieces, but also the invention of new models always more innovative.

What about the jam in all this?

Nestled in the now mythical white pot, the "Rose de Sèvres " artisanal jam is inspired by the emblematic elements of the art embodied by the Manufacture: Rose, gold and Bleu de Sèvres. Symbols of royalty and luxury that give our morning croissant the look of a real Sovereign breakfast.
