On the rooftops of Galeries Lafayette in Paris, there are gardens where fruits and herbs grow in a healthy, pesticide-free environment. Run by the Sous les Fraises company, this little urban paradise immediately captivated us. Its location ensures ultra-local, high-quality production—organic and pesticide-free.
In collaboration with Galeries Lafayette, we were able to obtain the 2016 summer harvest from its gardens. From strawberries, raspberries, tomatoes, thyme, rose geranium and pineapple sage grown using soilless technology, which does not use any pesticides, 100% Parisian jams were created to form an exclusive collection for Galeries Lafayette .
Sold a few floors below - at Galeries Lafayette Gourmet - we were able to prove that these remarkable products could meet demanding environmental and quality criteria.
